Implement the control and device configuration

The project required both application-layer field-oriented control code and peripheral configuration to be written manually, according to the supplied document.

02 /

Configure the TMS320F28379D

The described work involved using the TMS320F28379D datasheet to configure peripheral registers, including PWM and encoder functionality. Internal control variables were routed through the device’s D/A output for oscilloscope-assisted debugging.

03 /

Regulate torque and track power

The source reports torque control through q-axis current regulation and the development of a maximum-power-point-tracking (MPPT) algorithm for electrical generation.

04 /

Supplied demonstration reference

A video link accompanies the project description. The source provides no quantified tracking accuracy, operating envelope or generation-efficiency result, so none is claimed here.
